ASORI to work on energy efficiency with Vidin municipality

On January 28, 2019, a contract was signed for the implementation of Project No BG05SFOP001-2.009-0173 entitled “Citizens - Active Participants for Improvement of Air Quality, Energy Efficiency and the Use of Renewable Energy Sources for Heating in Overcoming Energy Poverty in Vidin Municipality” with an acronym: VIDIN E-ACTIVE.

Association for Social Responsibility and Development through Innovation - ASORI is partnering with the Association of Bulgarian Energy Agencies - ABEA together with Vidin Municipality, where the project activities will be implemented.

The project aims to involve citizens, businesses and their organizations in the stages of building policies for air quality, energy efficiency, renewable energy sources and waste management in Vidin Municipality. The project objective will be achieved through the development and implementation of stakeholder participation mechanisms, concrete action measures between the administration and the public in order to improve the socio-economic environment; develop a model for synchronized municipal policies, organize public discussions and trainings of the municipal administration. 

The VIDIN E-ACTIV project has duration of 23 months, totaling BGN 83 167.74 and is financed by the Operational Program "Good Governance".
